Hypnosis in no way replaces standard medical procedures and works in conjunction with them by freeing the client of feelings and attitudes that may be inhibiting his or her natural immunizing, cognitive, emotional, or other vital processes.  Hypnosis helps to create strong mental expectancy and reduce stress, thereby normalizing the actions of the autonomic nervous system (often helping the client in becoming more responsive to standard medical procedures).  All or portions of some sessions may be recorded for training and/or quality control purposes.

You take responsibility for any and all results of a hypnotherapy session with me including but not limited to emotions, stressors, memories, or any other unpleasant sensations that may be brought to the surface. If at any point during the session you wish to terminate the experience you are free to do so.

The Hypnotherapist is not providing psychological or mental advice and Hypnotherapy should in no way replace sound treatment from a licensed health care provider. Your Hypnotherapist is not a licensed medical doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, MFT (Master’s in Family Therapy) or MSW (Master’s in Social Work). The Hypnotherapist is certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

If you are experiencing any specific medical problem and have not seen your medical doctor, I recommend you do so today. If you are unsure of the nature of your condition, you are encouraged to consult an appropriate licensed health professional such as a physician, psychologist or psychiatrist. You are not required to disclose any information about your health to me and do so by your own choice.
