How did you get into this, anyway?

Because this is the question I get asked the most when I footzone a new client, I figured the explanation deserved a spot on my website!

In December of 2014 I had my first daughter, Naomi. A few months after her birth I started experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression. I didn’t feel like myself, and it felt like nothing I did helped. I started eating super healthy, working out, had a great group of friends I did things with, etc. No matter how balanced I tried to make my life, I still didn’t feel like myself.

Through a few random events I was pointed in the direction of footzoning in March or April of 2015, but it would be a couple of months before I’d be near a practitioner. As soon as I heard about footzoning, even though I had no idea what it was, I felt like a little light went off inside of me, and I knew that whatever it was, I had to learn how to do it.

I experienced my first footzone in May of 2015 and it changed my life forever! My zone was in the morning, and afterward I felt like I was floating. It felt like a huge weight I didn’t even know I’d been carrying was lifted off of my shoulders. I went home and immediately fell asleep for over three hours. I felt amazing for a few days, and then on the forth day I got a random fever that lasted about 12 hours. When the fever passed I felt a little less amazing, and more normal—finally! So many of my symptoms felt less severe.

After that, I knew there was a reason I had felt so called to footzoning—even though I had no clue what it was. Something about it resonated with my soul! I felt way more optimistic and in tune with myself. Feeling more open to inspiration, I suddenly realized that my husband was working way too taxing of a job and we should sell our house so he could go back to school and finish his degree. The stars all aligned that summer and in September of 2015 I was able to enroll in footzoning classes and we listed our house.

We sold our home super quick and moved back to Idaho in December of 2015 (we were living in Colorado at the time). I got pregnant with my second daughter, Isabel in March of 2016 (midway through my footzoning course), my husband started school in April, and I powered through some severe morning sickness to finish footzoning classes in June.

So much growth happened for me as an individual and for our family in that one year. I am so grateful for the zone and how it has helped me and my family over the years. This June will mark six years since I graduated from We Do Feet Seminars. I can’t believe it. I rely so much on the footzone as a tool in my life. I am grateful I can offer a service that truly helps others, especially those in my family.

I have zoned my grandparents, parents, siblings, husband, children, extended family, and countless clients. I have always had so much positive feedback, with most people coming back for follow-up appointments. While I can’t guarantee any results, I am amazed by the results I have seen in my life and in the lives of those I have footzoned.

If you feel called to experience a footzone from me, and you’ll know if you do, don’t hesitate to make an appointment. I’d love to zone your feet!
